Building Quality of Life improvement#71

One of my biggest issues with the gameright now is that, for example, when building a door module from the inside, you never know what version you’re building. Window, banner or mount ? I have to build it, get outside, deconstruct it and build the version I want. This is a bit complicated…
There is a simple fix for that that can also apply to every other item in the game that has different versions ! Window module, controllers, chests…
I made some images to explain what I mean better.

each item that has different versions would have a little arrow above them, like the second image.

Versions would not be accessible through just scrolling anymore. You’d have to press “e” (or your key set to the interact function) to toggle a new interface (see 3rd image.)

This would allow you to clearly see what version you are going to install.
Just the simple fact that you wouldn’t have to scroll through every version of one item to go to the next one would already be a great improvement.
For doors and windows, you wouldn’t have to get outside to see what you’re building.
For chests, this would allow to indicate the color, as it is quite hard to know what color you are going to install since the item to build is all green…
And for controllers, you could easily pick what group of module you want AND if you want it tall or low, without scrolling through every single version of it !

So this would be a huge quality of life improvement, and it would be quite elegant too ! I feel like it’s really needed.

^ This one tackles the same issue, somewhat. But it takes a different approach. I suggest reading it nonetheless

@The Fire Dragon I like this a lot more than my idea. Totally overlooked this could be solved so easily
