Cult of the red dolphin#1157

This suggestion is a little Easter egg joke, in this easter egg a gigantic red dolphin spawns after the volcano eruption that you can see in the distance, it’s a little hard to see through all the ash.

The dolphin also has a little cult in a bunker, everyone of them is dead, but one of the skeletons has a shot gun called the big red.

once you’ve found the bunker and the shotgun, and used a scope to zoom in on the dolphin for five seconds (you can do it in any order you like) you’ll get an achievement called “red dolphin”.

And this is all just a fun little easter egg

Oh and also the shotgun is painted dark red with the words “the big red” engraved onto the barrel

I believe it’s best not to touch the eruption, because everybody looks at it at least once. A giant dolphin in it would just make no sense and confuse people.
Skeletons probably can’t be a thing too because they’re aiming for a lower age-rating for the game.

Although I can totally see a small shrine in a mine or tunnel system, hidden in a corner, with a red dolphin painting on a rock and some unlit candles around. That’d already be good enough of an easter egg ! The achievement can be given by simply finding the place.
And if we really want an item there, a shotgun can work, but it has to be just a reskinned shotgun. No different stats or whatever. Achievement could be for picking it up. Question is though, would it be a unique item that never respawns, so if you lose it, it’s gone forever ? Or does it respawn with each eruption, so that even if you lose it you can come and pick it back up, and everyone in multiplayer could get one too ?

The dolphin is pretty hard to see, it’s far away, plus ash also makes it harder to see it, and it isn’t a 100% chance of it being there, and i can totally understand no skeletons if you are going for a lower age rating.

And “the big red” shot gun only spawns when the dolphin spawns (which has a very low chance of Spawning), so once you’ve seen the dolphin, you gotta run to the shrine and there is “the big red”, if the dolphin hasn’t spawned but you still go there you’ll only find a normal one.

Oh and this is just a short detail with the big red (if it’s ok), Sometimes when you shoot with the big red, you’ll hear a faint dolphin noise.

I like FireDragoms way of this idea even though it’s basically just the same thing with some minor changes, I’m not opposed to see this in the game, I would love for eastereggs to be added

maybe the big red shotgun will always spawn the first time but if you want more you will have to wait for a couple eruptions

No, that would decrease it’s rarity, and people won’t be as excited when it spawns.

It’s rare so people will have something to strive for.

Oh and the sight for the big red can be a fin.
