Better Fuel#911

another kind of fuel that lasts longer and can be crafted out of coal and another kind of material. It could be designed as gasoline and u have to have an extra mashine that can fill up the container. It also could be possible to add liquid coal as a fuel

It could be grafait crafted with 2 or more coal

There was a concept for Oil back in pre-alpha but it didnt make it to the current version of the game. would sureley be a nice addition though imo :)

Even if you don’t want to add oil that can spawn on the map, players could at sosme point realistically craft it via coal liquefaction. Whether you want that be a complex process or just simplify it is another question but it’s certainly an option.

Alternatively some fictional enrichment process with crystal infusion or something, essentially combining coal with higher tier materials for better fuel that has more energy density for storage.

maybe the new fuel source can be nuclear? like you upgrade your boiler to a nuclear reactor and have to feed it Rods or raw uranium ore (raw would be used up much faster) u can make the rods with 4 uranium ore, 2 sulfur ore and 2 sulfur power

the coal liquification one giving me Factorio vibes. There, you need an beginning amount of heavy oil to start the procedure
