Make the gatling a suppression weapon#902

Not just another automatic weapon for single target use, but to keep them bucket heads down!
I really like the feeling of the weapon (sound, recoil pattern, mode of use, fire rate, etc), I think the devs nailed (at least as far as I’m concerned) the “TF2 heavy” vibe that I quite like about that style of weapon (played heavy for a long time, I’m definitely biased).
However, I have noticed that even though I shoot into a small, compact group (2 or 3 COG’s shoulder to shoulder) and get almost as many hit markers as I fire shots, they just don’t fall down fast enough for the ammount of ammunition (and titanium) I invest in the weapon. Even if I just use explosives to siege a drillship, I have found that 1,5k rounds is barely enough to deal with the infantry.
What I have seen to work quite well is to use it indoors (through corridors, doors, against spawners, that stuff), which makes me think that it may be its intended use and I’m just bad at gauging when to employ it, but I kinda feel that we already have at least 3 guns for close quarters/narrow environs (shotgun, grenade launcher, SMG) that the gatling, at least to me, is a missed opportunity as a more of a suppressive fire weapon.
And the game even has something akin to suppressing COG’s!

I think the gatlings damage to cogs may need a buff after reading this, thanks for the suggestion :)
