This is not possible due to the fact that the devs are actually humans, which means they require food and shelter to survive. Depriving them of money would also deprive them of life which would deprive everyone of updates for the game. But hey, at least it would be free.

A possible way to make the game free would be to pay food and taxes for all the devs for the rest of their lives - meaning they wouldn’t need to get money from anywhere, so the game could become free.

This suggestion is an insult to all the hard work the devs put into this game. I legit almost bought the game again after I read this.
