Dont really need to explain this, but unlimited materials, unlimited health, unlimited drillship health, etc etc.

If you peek in the Steam Forums, they actually have where someone figured out how to send the game into Developer Mode. Obviously this isn’t playtested… but I think it hashes out what you are looking for. You can alter health, inventory, and even activate a Noclip function where you can walk through walls.

Because if you just want to build without threat, you already have that when you beat the game on any difficulty right now.

What they don’t have is an unlimited “COGs” always rebuild their Lasers mode. Given, you can just start a new game, but that’s starting totally from scratch, with none of your stashes or drillship modifications.

This “Dev Mode” is not a creative mode, A Creative mode is planned for the future, you’ll see it come around sooner or later.
