New class of Cogs and modules#401

I have not seen anyone say this, if they have, do let me know and i will delete. I thought that since there are COGs that are black and are act like “security” or “defense”, maybe have them drop their own heads and have another type of intel (security intel) that will help unlock different turrets, types of ammo for the drillship and maybe also expand the drillship to have 4 floors so that you can have twice the modules in the same length.

In addition to this, maybe new modules that were shown on the official discord as dev leaks such as the robot dog companion or the minitank could be produced with this security intel.

I would also like to see sensors that will help you locate enemy COGs when you are going to a landing site, telling you if there are many nearby, kinda like giving each landing site an influence area that can be scanned for COGs, maybe have an even more advanced version that tells you the type of COG they are and the level (blue, green, red and the tier they have)

Intresting idea. Fun fact, at first there was supposed to be a military field of research, but it was then scrapped since it wasn’t really useful. But now that we’re getting more weapons, more turrets, and even drones and tanks, it could make a comeback, who knows.

As for a 4-floor drillship, that’s simply impossible. Landing sites are made for this wideness and height of ship, only the length can change without too many issues.

And for the COG detectign thing, that doesn’t really sound useful to me. You can already just use the periscope and see what’s going on around that landing site.

I think the cog decteter should be used to scan for ores instead
