For cosmetic reasons, like for example, I put lights on all avaliable spaces to put lights on the exterior, and they are only really visible after eruptions, when the ash is blocking the sun. If night time is added, lights will look really cool

I do believe that is planned, but it has low priority.

Yes the devs have said that they want to do this… However because its purley cosmetic its low priority :)

I personally love nighttime in games so I’m rooting for this

Maybe it could increase COG spawn rates or difficulty or something

The caves could also be darker as of now the caves are super bright the lava pools should only cover so much but places like fox hole and others where there is little to no light this should be a horror game with the flash light

Could bring a new drone, spot light utility or give turret drones a light and battery
