I’m not here to just suggest better medkits as you progress through the tech tree ; I think tiers should be different, while remaining somewhat equal. Each tier could represent a certain play style, for example :
While each one would be similar in the end, they would offer different mechanics : Tier 2 is much more ‘“healing on the field”, while T3 is more “hide and take cover to heal fully”.
If every tier stacks to 5, that makes it even more interesting. It would be technically better to have T3, but it may not correspond to everyone’s play style. You could stick to T2 or T1, which gives on-the-field advantages, but require more inventory space to be reliable.

Well i think that there maby need to by like the Higher the Tier you get faster healing with full bar or hlaf a bar like Tier 1 10 seconds for a full bar T2 4 seconds for a half bar T3 2.7 seconds for half a bar.
If you want an excuse for mining precious metals, Silver can be made into an Alchemical Colloidial that is of great benefit to improving your immune systems. Even if they add Herbs into the game, this could still be implemented as part of the options for medicine in game.
Regardless of whether you actually believe in Collodial silver, you can’t deny it’s and incredibly Steampunk thing to drink.
