I’ve used the Rocket Launcher for some time, and there’s one BUG that makes it completely unsable. While it has an unspeakably, dreadfully LONG reload time, which, paired with inability to run or jog wielding it, no higher-level rockets, and extremely low damage for its fire rate, it also has a clear BUG, which kills the weapon entirely: the reload cycle animation bug. So right now the reload process consists of the following steps:
1) You fire the weapon.
2) Ironsights get retracted.
3) The chamber gets opened.
4) New rocket is loaded into the chamber.
5) Chamber get closed.
[WEAPON MUST BE READY NOW]
6) Ironsights get extended.
7) Only now weapon is ready!
What inexpressible frustration and anger I felt when, amidst the fight, I preformed the LOGICALLY necessary reload cycle, switched the launcher to other weapon to save myself some precious time, then took the Laucnher out to shoot it again, ONLY to see that it’s still UNLOADED!! Please fix this, I’m pretty sure this problem is present for other weapons, please, I beg of you, fix the animation and reload cycle for Rocket Launcher alone at least! Because of this bug, it’s utterly unplayable for me right now, I only use Mortar with High-Explosive Shells.
