A possible fix for accidentally going up during eruption#163

Sometimes, you’re driving underground just before the eruption, and accidentally click on a landing site, it will bring you up to the surface, and you will possibly die from eruption.
A fix for that would be to change the way landing sites work ; when you click on it, the ship would drive up to it, but won’t go to the surface. If you want to go up, you’ll have to press “go to surface” on the travel menu, or an up/down lever in the ship. That way, there will be much much less accidents.

How about an abort lever or main shutdown for the drill head. This would stop all activity until it is turned back on again. The ship will remain in an upward slope until you power it up then it will continue to go to the surface as planned or not

Yeah, seen it happen a bunch of times on stream so once this co-op madness is over I’m sure the team will look into this one

I don’t really like Rocky’s idea ; it sounds like something added to patch up an overlook from before, adding on top of the problem rather than actually fixing it up…
