COG War Train#1248

If I was seeing right on one of the dev leaks, it looks to me like there are going to be some abandoned rail lines on the new map, along with a wrecked train or two. Maybe the cogs figured out a way to armour one of the trains just enough so that it can barely survive the eruption, granted with major damage sustained each time forcing there to be a time frame where the train isnt running on account of the cogs repairing it. As for gameplay, this COG-controlled train could be a looming threat for maybe the first couple of sections, and then towards the endgame, you have to derail it for the final tier upgrade/upgrades for your drill, or it could just be a well rewarding side mision with very high risk to permanently disable the train.

I’m not sure that would really fit. I mean, we already have the drillships, what would they need a train for ? Plus I fully expect the tracks to be all broken and unusable. I don’t really see any reason for a train to exist, especially considering there’s now free-roaming vehicles, which opens up potential for way more stuff down the road.
