Backpack#1056

IMO backpacks shouldn’t be destructible or there should at least be an option to keep inventory upon death… though these suggestions are based upon assumptions. Lava would probably be the only exception though you could probably find out how to get the backpack to move itself to the nearest safe surface depending on how you determine how the lava hurts/kills. With a system like backpack destruction people tend to not want to play due to the generally frustrating nature of such a thing.

The only way to destroy a backpack currently is to leave it out during an eruption. Otherwise, if you die in lava or under a ship, the backpack will appear at a place you were a few seconds before so you can retrieve it.

Ah so my information was incorrect. Good that’s good. Not a good sign for my ability to collect information but I’m glad I was wrong.
